Post Sales – Business Analyst

Job Type: Full Time
Job Location: Ahmedabad
Job Time: 11:00am to 8:00pm

We are seeking a highly structured, analytical, and collaboration-driven Post-Sales Business Analyst to join our Delivery & Operations team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between Sales → Project Intake → Delivery Execution, ensuring every signed project enters development with absolute clarity, requirement completeness, and functional accuracy.

You will play a key role in converting signed Scopes of Work (SOWs) and client requirements into detailed documentation, helping delivery, design, development, and QA teams execute projects smoothly and efficiently. This is a deeply execution-focused role that emphasizes precision, requirement communication, and delivery readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Intake & Transition
    • Review final signed Scope of Work (SOW), proposals, discovery notes, and transcripts from the team.
    • Participate in internal project kickoff sessions to absorb client priorities, delivery expectations, and any known technical constraints.
    • Identify information gaps or ambiguities that require resolution before development begins.
  2. Requirement Documentation
    • Translate high-level business needs into Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and User Stories.
    • Break down each module or feature into detailed specifications including data fields, validations, interactions, and content behavior.
    • Define dynamic content behavior, workflow logic, click behaviors, and conditions for authenticated views (when applicable).
    • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure all documentation is delivery-ready.
  3. Internal Communication & Task Structuring
    • Collaborate with PMs to convert finalized requirements into well-defined development tasks in the PM tool (ClickUp, Jira, etc.).
    • Identify task dependencies and work with leads to establish a logical execution sequence.
    • Assist QA teams by preparing initial test case outlines based on user stories and business rules.
  4. Client Clarifications & Change Requests
    • Track and document clarification requests from the client during the execution phase.
    • Support Project Managers and Account Managers in evaluating scope deviations or change requests by identifying technical impacts and dependencies.
    • Maintain version-controlled records of requirement changes and client confirmations.
  5. Quality Alignment Support
    • Assist PMs in reviewing completed work against functional requirements before client delivery.
    • Participate in internal UAT cycles to validate that the build aligns with documentation and avoids surprises in client reviews.
  6. Documentation Ownership & Hygiene
    • Maintain a centralized repository of requirement documents, change logs, and client confirmations for each project.
    • Ensure consistent formatting, versioning, and naming across documentation to improve internal usability and traceability.
    • Regularly clean up outdated or deprecated references in shared documentation.
  7.  Proactive Issue Flagging
    • Liaise with the UI/UX design team to ensure designs match functionality expectations and documented user flows.
    • Annotate design files or provide developer-facing notes where needed to clarify logic, display conditions, or exceptions.
  8.  Cross-Department Collaboration
    • Liaise with the UI/UX design team to ensure designs match functionality expectations and documented user flows.
    • Annotate design files or provide developer-facing notes where needed to clarify logic, display conditions, or exceptions.
  9. Tool and Process Adoption
    • Contribute to refining internal templates and process checklists for documentation, change tracking, and requirement mapping.
    • Recommend process improvements based on observed bottlenecks or recurring issues during handoffs.
  10. Team Support & Knowledge Sharing
    • Document common functional modules, platform limitations, and project patterns in an internal knowledge base.
    • Assist in onboarding new delivery team members by providing background briefs and context documents for ongoing projects.
  11. Reusability & Pattern Recognition
    • Identify recurring modules, filters, content patterns, and interaction logic across projects.
    • Propose reusable technical patterns or documentation blocks to help improve scoping speed and implementation efficiency.

Desired Skills

  • 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a digital agency, web development, or software delivery environment.
  • Experience creating FRDs, user stories, process flows, and QA outlines.
  • Ability to convert business requirements into clear, structured, developer-ready documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with tools: Figma, Jira, ClickUp, Miro, Lucidchart, Confluence, Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation hygiene.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with US-based agencies, SaaS companies, or white-label digital service models.
  • Familiarity with SOWs, BRDs, technical specifications, and discovery documentation.
  • Understanding of website development lifecycles (WordPress/Shopify builds, custom PHP/JS development, API integrations).
  • Ability to annotate UI/UX files and suggest improvements to usability or functionality.
  • Understanding of risk management, requirement prioritization, and delivery dependencies.
