We are seeking a strategic, commercially driven, and AI-aware Client Account Manager to manage high-value agency partnerships and drive account growth.

This role goes beyond relationship management. You will be responsible for identifying AI and workflow automation opportunities within client accounts and delivering proactive, value-driven recommendations that create measurable impact.

You will act as the primary point of contact for agency partners while collaborating closely with internal delivery teams across design, development, QA, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Account Ownership

  • Manage a portfolio of agency accounts as the primary strategic partner.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute long-term account growth strategies.
  • Conduct structured reviews (QBRs) with performance insights and growth plans.

2. Project & Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee multiple digital projects ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality.
  • Guide Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration across teams.

3. AI Workflow Identification & Advisory

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and automation opportunities within client operations.
  • Recommend AI-driven solutions such as automation tools, chatbots, and analytics dashboards.
  • Stay updated with AI trends and translate them into practical client solutions.

4. Delivery Coordination & Execution

  • Act as a bridge between client expectations and internal teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Maintain clear documentation of scope, timelines, and change requests.
  • Proactively identify and address delivery gaps.

5. Revenue & Account Growth

  • Drive upsell, cross-sell, and service expansion opportunities.
  • Lead proposals, pricing discussions, and contract renewals.
  • Monitor account profitability and forecasting.
  • Maintain visibility on account revenue and risk

6. Client Communication & Reporting

  • Maintain proactive and structured communication with clients.
  • Present performance insights, strategies, and recommendations.
  • Use AI tools to improve reporting, documentation, and efficiency.
  • Ensure all communication is professional and business-focused.

7. Who This Role Is NOT For

  • You have managed accounts but have not owned commercial outcomes such as upsell, renewal, and revenue targets.
  • You are looking for a coordination or support role — this is a full account ownership position with commercial accountability.
  • You have not worked with US-based clients or managed cross-timezone communication at a professional level.
  • You approach account management reactively — our partners expect proactive insights and initiatives, not just responses.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success in digital agency, SaaS, or consulting environments.
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong commercial understanding including upsell, retention, and profitability.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with US-based clients and cross-time-zone communication.
  • Understanding of digital platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and eCommerce ecosystems.
  • Experience with project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Basecamp.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in white-label agency or partner-driven environments.
  • Exposure to automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or n8n.
  • Experience with long-term client accounts or enterprise projects.
  • Understanding of AI workflows, automation, and analytics dashboards.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing KPIs and performance reporting
