The Name
A rivulet is a small stream. On its own, it is quiet. Unremarkable, even. But rivulets converge. They gather strength. They become rivers.
That is how we think about the work we do. Every project starts as a single idea. Our job is to take that idea and build it into something that carries real weight. Something that works in production, not just in a pitch deck.
The name is a reminder to ourselves: big things start small. What matters is what you build from there.
The Story
January 1, 2020
Rivulet IQ was built on one idea. Businesses deserve a development partner that works as an extension of their team — one that explains everything clearly, delivers what it promises, and does not disappear after launch. That idea became a company on January 1, 2020.
2020 — 2022
The early years were about proving the model. Small projects, tight timelines, and a simple promise: do what we say we will do. Word spread. Clients started coming back with bigger work.
2022 — 2024
The team grew to 90+ people organized into dedicated pods. The work expanded from WordPress sites to SaaS platforms, AI integrations, Shopify stores, and long-term maintenance partnerships.
Today
Five years in, the plan has not changed. We solve problems, deliver on time, and stay accountable. The team is bigger. The capabilities are broader. The standards are the same.
The Signal
Clients who have worked with us, recommending us to companies they know. That pattern tells us more about how we are doing than any metric on a dashboard.
How We Work
Not a sales team that hands you off. Your dedicated project manager is on every call, from kickoff through delivery.
Timelines, progress updates, and decisions shared as they happen — not in a monthly summary three weeks after the fact.
Detailed scoping before work begins. You know what you are getting, what it costs, when it ships, and where the boundaries are.
You own the code, the design, and the decisions. We execute the build. You maintain full control over the product and the relationship with your customers.
Core Values
These are not wall posters. These are the standards we hold ourselves to on every project, every call, every decision.
01
Solve the right problem, not just the loudest one. We dig into the why before we touch the how.
02
Lead with facts, not feelings. Every recommendation we make is grounded in evidence, not assumption.
03
Act like owners, not bystanders. When something breaks, we fix it. When something is unclear, we flag it.
04
Fix forward through disciplined learning. We do not hide mistakes — we learn from them and move quickly.
05
Listen first, lead with respect. The best technical solutions start with understanding the people behind the request.
Hard-Won Lessons
What separates projects that ship on time from those that spiral is not the plan — it is how quickly problems surface and how honestly they get discussed.
If discovery is rushed, if requirements are vague, if the client and the build team are not aligned on what “done” means — the rest of the project is damage control. We invest heavily in the first two weeks.
WordPress instead of a custom CMS. A well-structured Shopify store instead of a ground-up ecommerce build. We recommend what works for the situation, even when the simpler option is less interesting for us.
Our longest partnerships started with small projects. The relationship grew because we did what we said we would do, charged what we said we would charge, and delivered when we said we would deliver.
What We Build
WordPress development, Shopify stores, SaaS platforms, Laravel applications, Vue.js frontends, and ongoing maintenance — from single landing pages to multi-month custom builds.
The services expanded because our clients’ needs expanded — and because we would rather grow with the people who trust us than send them somewhere else.
